Clinic services

More than one pathway to feeling and functioning better

You may come with a diagnosed condition, after surgery or cancer treatment, during pregnancy, or because pain, tension or swelling is affecting daily life. Care is shaped around your health, capacity and goals.

02

Lipoedema assessment and support

Respectful, informed support for pain, heaviness, tissue changes, swelling and day-to-day management, including compression, movement, symptom support and preparation for or recovery from surgery.

Lipoedema is not caused by lifestyle and does not respond like general body fat to diet and exercise.

03

Oncology massage and survivorship support

Gentle, carefully adapted massage during or after cancer care, planned around treatment history, fatigue, neuropathy, skin changes, surgery and individual comfort.

04

Scar, cording and fibrosis care

Hands-on treatment for post-surgical restriction, adhesions, axillary web syndrome, radiation changes and fibrotic tissue, including breast and chest wall care where appropriate.

05

Therapeutic and advanced massage

Individually adapted massage for muscular tension, aches, pain, restricted movement and nervous-system down-regulation, including gentler care for people with complex health needs.

06

Pregnancy massage

Comfortable, supportive massage adapted to each stage of pregnancy, with careful positioning and attention to changing symptoms, swelling and individual health considerations.

07

Post-surgical and recovery support

Care following breast, cancer, orthopaedic or lipoedema surgery may include swelling management, gentle tissue work, scar care, compression guidance and a paced return to self-management.

08

Lifestyle and chronic disease support

Education informed by lifestyle medicine and chronic disease management, with realistic guidance around movement, breathing, recovery, pacing and everyday habits alongside your medical care.

Treatment options

Different tools, selected for a reason

Treatment is not a fixed menu. Following assessment, Lisa may use one approach or combine several according to your presentation, comfort, precautions and response.

Hands-on care

Manual lymphatic drainage, therapeutic massage, myofascial and scar techniques, and self-care teaching.

Compression support

Garment measurement and fitting guidance, bandaging or wraps where appropriate, and intermittent pneumatic compression.

Supportive technologies

SOZO bioimpedance spectroscopy, MR4 therapeutic laser and red-light therapy may be incorporated when clinically appropriate.

Care beyond the clinic

A manageable home plan, practical education and communication with other health professionals when useful.

What to expect

A thoughtful first step, followed by a plan you can use

You do not need to know exactly which treatment you need before making contact. Start by explaining the main reason for your enquiry.

  1. 1

    Send a text

Send a brief message with your name and the reason you are seeking care. Lisa will respond when she is available between clinic commitments.

  2. 2

    Your assessment

Your history, symptoms, skin and tissue changes, current treatment and priorities are considered before care begins.

  3. 3

    Your care plan

You receive clear recommendations, practical education and a plan that may include hands-on treatment, compression, supportive technology and manageable self-care.

The clinic approach

Experienced care without false promises

Lymphoedema and lipoedema usually require ongoing, individualised management. The clinic focuses on sound assessment, realistic goals, symptom support and helping you make informed decisions.

01

Clinically informed

Care considers medical history, treatment risks and contraindications.

02

Practical

Strategies are adapted to your capacity, priorities and daily life.

03

Respectful

You are listened to, included in decisions and treated without judgement.

Common questions

Before your appointment

What should I bring?

Bring relevant medical or surgical information, a current medication list, any compression garments you use and referral letters or reports if you have them.

Are home visits available?

Home visits can be arranged when required for selected assessments, measurement, fitting, education and follow up. Suitability, travel and professional fees are discussed first.

How many appointments will I need?

This varies with the condition, severity, treatment goals and how your body responds. Lisa will explain the recommended frequency after assessment and review it with you over time.

What is a SOZO measurement?

SOZO uses bioimpedance spectroscopy to take a quick, non-invasive measurement that can support baseline assessment and monitoring of fluid change over time. Lisa will explain whether it is useful for your individual situation.

Can I attend during cancer treatment?

Oncology massage and lymphatic care can often be adapted, but timing and treatment depend on your current therapy, blood counts, skin integrity, infection risk and medical advice. Clearance may be requested when appropriate.
